The Schönbrunnerstr. 111, in the fifth district of Vienna, will be acoustically transformed through music and light. The performance group ArtISTmotion will bring a new, unique atmopherical atmosphere to the building by appearing in a Quartet formation with two violins, cello and akkordeon and performing own compositional works of a dramatic, epic nature. This project focuses on exploring the connections between Music and Architecture.
​The building, which is in a current state of renovation is being used for the time being as a place for community focused interim use and cultural exploration. The building and community of artists that exist there provides a rare charm to the city of Vienna. Here, students, artists, and anyone looking for an escape from chaotic city life, have a place to escape to and experience a new urban environment.

Die Performance erforscht die Grenzen zwischen Musik und Architektur. Vier Musiker_innen verwandeln das Haus in der Schönbrunnerstraße 111 in ein Panoptikum. Doch wer beobachtet hier wen? Zwischen Klängen, Körpern, Fassaden und Fenstern, zwischen Drinnen und Draußen, zwischen dem Fassbaren und der Vorstellung entsteht ein totales Bild. Man taucht ein darin, es geht unter die Haut, und läßt sich selbst noch mit geschlossenen Augen betrachten. Ohren aufgesperrt!
